The basics of bento,
The most basic
Salted onigiri (rice ball with no filling)
and
Tuna mayo onigiri
and tamagoyaki (fried egg).
Normally, tamagoyaki is made in a frying pan specially designed for tamagoyaki.
but we make tamagoyaki in a small frying pan.

You will be able to make Japanese omelets, not omelettes.

Japanese egg rolls are usually flavored a little sweet. Some of you may not be used to sweet side dishes, but we encourage you to give this traditional flavor a try. If it does not suit your taste, try adjusting the amount of sugar yourself the next time you make it.

Please prepare your own materials and tools.

Note: If tuna in water is not available, substitute it with tuna in oil.
If you don't have rice, you can use oiled rice instead.

Materials and tools to be prepared by a student

1. Small frying pan (about 15 cm is preferable)

4. 1.5 g salt
5. 1 teaspoon tuna (boiled in water)
6. 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise
7. 2 sheets of nori 5cm x 10cm
8. bowl
9. chopsticks used to move food from a serving dish to one's own dish
10. 2 eggs
11. 2 teaspoons sugar
12. A pinch of salt
