The structure of a yukata and a kimono are the same, but a yukata requires fewer steps and is easier than a kimono, so we recommend that first-time students practice dressing a yukata first.

After a simple correction with a towel and putting on a yukata camisole, we will put on the yukata.
You will practice two types of half-width obi knots: a three-dimensional one and a flat one (easy to sit on a train or in a car). We have prepared a separate lesson for tying a more design-oriented or unique obi, so if you would like to try different types, please take that lesson as well♪.

No precautions

Please prepare your own materials and tools.

Note: You can purchase a yukata set at the kimono stores listed in the "Materials and Tools" page. Please look for "Yukata Omakase Full Set".

If you are not sure which one to buy or if you can use something you already have, please feel free to contact us by clicking the "Ask an Instructor" button.
