Ask the Instructor
Once you have mastered wearing an everyday kimono, the next step is to practice wearing a visiting kimono (formel kimono).
We will dress you while paying attention to the differences from the komon (everyday kimono), such as the size of the obi (sash) and the crest (openness at the back of the neck).

You will practice three times: the first time you will watch the instructor's movements and imitate them; the second time you will watch the instructor's movements and try by yourself if you don't understand something; and the third time you will try to do it by yourself without the instructor. You can ask questions as many times as you like if you don't understand something.

No precautions

Please prepare your own materials and tools.

Note: Please prepare a formal kimono called a "visiting kimono" or "tsukebake". The kimono should have a pattern on the left breast and hem, and the back of the kimono should be connected like a single picture.

*If you are not sure which one to buy or if you can use something you already have, please feel free to contact us by clicking the "Ask an Instructor" button.
